Zagreb Airport is located 14 kilometers southeast of the Croatian capital. It is the main international airport of Croatia, handling more than 2 million passengers per year.

The Airport has one terminal which serves both domestic and international flight.

Parking at the airport

There are three parking lots offering about 550 spaces /  P1 and P3  = HRK 10.00 per hour,  P2 =  HRK 7.00 per hour / Tel: (+385) (0)1 456 2456.

Available transportation at the airport

Bus :
•    The bus station is right in front of the exit of the International Arrivals Hall.
•    Every half hour between 07:00 and 20:00, a bus goes to the central bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) in Zagreb. Outside of these times, buses run in connection with arriving and departing airplanes.
•    The travel time to the center of Zagreb is approximately 25 minutes; a ticket costs HRK 30.00.

Car Rental :
•    There are counters for many car rental companies including Adria Rent, An Nova, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National/Alamo, Thrifty, Uni Rent and Sixt.

Taxi :
•    Taxis are in front of the Arrivals Hall
•    A taxi from the airport to Zagreb city centre costs about 200 Kuna and takes about 1/2 hour.

Split Airport, opened in 1966 and located 25 kilometers west of Split , is the second largest airport in Croatia. It handles about over than one million passenger per year.

This airport is  an important hub for Croatia Airlines offering flights to many European cities such as London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome and Paris.

Parking at the airport

•    One parking lot with 353 spaces - free for the first 15 minutes/ located directly opposite the terminal building.

Bus :
•    A shuttle bus from the airport to Split is organised by the Plesoprijevoz bus company.
•    There is a local bus serving the airport every 20 minutes during the day.

Car Rental :
•    Car hire companies at the airport include Adex, Adriaplus/Europcar, Anterra/Hertz, Automatic Commerce, Dicar/Budget, Dignitas/Alamo-National, Sixt, Subrosa/Dollar-Thrifty and Uni Rent.

Taxi :
•    Taxis are available outside the terminal building during airport operating hours.

 Zadar Airport is located about 11 km from the city centre (16 minutes).  It is mainly served during the winter season by Croatia Airlines to Pula & Zagreb, while during the summer season it is served by domestic, international and low-fare airlines offering direct flights to European destinations, with connections around the world.  A good number of seasonal charters also serve the Airport.

There is an open space parking lot: 577 spaces / 15 minutes free of charge / from 1st to 3rd hour = 10,00 HRK/per hour / Each additional hour = 3,00 HRK/per hour.

•    There is a regular bus connection between the Airport and city centre.

Taxis :
•    Taxi stand is located opposite the exit of the Airport international arrival.

Car Rental :
•    There are counters for many car rental companies including: Lulic, Avis, Hertz, Uniline (Alamo/National/Europcar), AMC, Sixt, Korzo & Petak).

The airport, opened in 1936, is located approximately 23km southeast of Dubrovnik. The airport is currently undergoing major expansion and improvement, with work scheduled for completion in 2011.

•    Parking up to 15min - free / 15min-1hour - 5kn / 1-2hours - 10kn/2-4hours - 15kn / 4-12hours - 20kn / 12-24hours - 40kn / every next hour - 2kn / lost ticket - 300kn.

Bus :

•    Public bus company Libertas Dubrovnik operates bus services from the airport.

•    Shuttle: Atlas shuttle buses depart for Dubrovnik after the arrival of every regular incoming flight.

Taxi :

•    Taxis are available on the kerb just outside the Terminal building.

Car hire companies :

•    Car hire companies are available.

There are several major railway routes in the country, with Zagreb being the major hub of Croatia train travel.

Zagreb main station, opened in 1890, has direct services to major European cities such as Vienna (6 hours), Budapest, Zurich, Munich, Berlin, Salzburg, Venice, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Thessalonika, Belgrade as well as domestic services to all major towns (except Dubrovnik).

There is also an all-year-round overnight train (with sleeping compartments) between Zagreb and Split.
