Zagreb Airport is located 14 kilometers southeast of the Croatian capital. It is the main international airport of Croatia, handling more than 2 million passengers per year.

The Airport has one terminal which serves both domestic and international flight.

Information and help Desks :
•    There is a service counter and a tourist information office in the Central Hall.

Airport facilities :
•    Money exchange office.
•    ATM.
•    Bank.
•    Post office in the terminal.

Business Facilities :
•    The VIP lounge has three meeting rooms which can be combined into one large room /Tel: (+385) (0) 1 456 21 13.
•    Business lounge ‘Zrinjevac’ with fax, telephone and internet.

Disabled Facilities :
•    The airport is accessible for disabled people.
•    Wheelchair ramps.
•    One adapted restroom in the Central Hall.

Shops and Restaurants :
•    Duty-Free shops.
•    Coffee shop.
•    Snack bars.
•    Souvenir Shops.

Other Services :
•    An office for lost and found items: in the Central Hall (open from 08:00–20:00).

 

Parking at the airport

There are three parking lots offering about 550 spaces /  P1 and P3  = HRK 10.00 per hour,  P2 =  HRK 7.00 per hour / Tel: (+385) (0)1 456 2456.

 

Available transportation at the airport

Bus :
•    The bus station is right in front of the exit of the International Arrivals Hall.
•    Every half hour between 07:00 and 20:00, a bus goes to the central bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) in Zagreb. Outside of these times, buses run in connection with arriving and departing airplanes.
•    The travel time to the center of Zagreb is approximately 25 minutes; a ticket costs HRK 30.00.

Car Rental :
•    There are counters for many car rental companies including Adria Rent, An Nova, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, National/Alamo, Thrifty, Uni Rent and Sixt.

Taxi :
•    Taxis are in front of the Arrivals Hall
•    A taxi from the airport to Zagreb city centre costs about 200 Kuna and takes about 1/2 hour.

There are several major railway routes in the country, with Zagreb being the major hub of Croatia train travel.

Zagreb main station, opened in 1890, has direct services to major European cities such as Vienna (6 hours), Budapest, Zurich, Munich, Berlin, Salzburg, Venice, Ljubljana, Sarajevo, Thessalonika, Belgrade as well as domestic services to all major towns (except Dubrovnik).

There is also an all-year-round overnight train (with sleeping compartments) between Zagreb and Split.
