Transportation Cuba

Jose Marti International Airport is the main Cuban airport. Located 18 kilometres from Havana City, it welcomes several million passengers each year, who represent 80 percent of all international traffic to Cuba.
This airport provides links to several international destinations as well as Canada, Italy, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, and Germany.

Jaime González Airport is an international airport located around 5km from downtown Cienfuegos.
It mainly provides international connections with Toronto and Montreal.

Antonio Maceo International Airport, named after one of the most remarkable leaders of the guerrillas in 19th century Latin America, was home to the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces.
It is located in the famous city of Santiago de Cuba. Mainly used for commercial links, it also provides direct flights to anywhere in Haiti and around twenty other international flights each week.

Cuba is well served by trains, which are one of the most popular means of transport in the country. They are more comfortable than the buses, especially for long distance trips.

Havana Central Railway Station is the main railway terminal in Havana and the hub of the railway system in the country.
Once a military arsenal, this historic building became the city’s first railway station in 1912. It is considered a National Monument because of its great architectural value and historical significance.
