Mexico City International Airport also called Benito Juárez International Airport is located 8 miles (13 km) east of the historical city center. It is Mexico's and Latin America's main major airport offering direct flights to more than 100 destinations worldwide.

• There are several information desks in the international and domestic areas of the terminals.
• There is a tourist information office (tel: (55) 2786 9002) in lounge B, which provides information on Mexico City and can help arrange accommodation.

• Post office located in the Domestic Arrivals area

Business Facilities
The International Business Club situated on the 2nd floor of concourse D, provides workstations; meeting rooms; an auditorium; telephone; Internet; and catering services.

Disabled Facilities
The airport is equipped with ramps, lifts and wheelchairs for travellers with physical disabilities.
Car parking spaces for disabled passengers are provided in the car parks next to the terminal buildings.

► The lost property office (tel: (55) 5571 3600, ext. 2289) is located in the terminal entrance area.

The airport has four well-maintained and organised parking lots with a capacity for almost 5,000 vehicles.

Taxi Services
Taxis are available from outside the terminal building. Passengers are advised to use only the authorised taxis, with an airport logo on them.

Bus
There are regular airport buses to various destinations in and around Mexico City. The buses depart from outside Gate D.

Car rental
Car rental companies are available at the airport.

Rail
The Metro offers regular train services to and from the airport. The station is located just outside the terminal building.

General Abelardo L. Rodríguez International Airport, also known as Tijuana International Airport, is one of the most important airports in the country and one of its main entries. Sited in Baja California, the airport offers easy access to Tijuana, located 8 kilometres away. It is also very close to the US border.

National Railways of Mexico (or Ferrocarriles Nacionales de Mexico) has been in decline for some years and recently went into liquidation. Currently, Rail travel to Mexico city is not a realistic option.
