Athens Ledra Marriott: spirit to preserve initiative

Athens hotel’s associates showed their Green commitment to a better planet. Marriott aspires to be the global hospitality leader that demonstrates how responsible hospitality management can be a positive force for the environment and inspire personal action in the communities where we live and work.

Their hotel in central Athens has pitched in to help achieve this with their newest green initiative.

The Athens Ledra Marriott Hotel associates showed this green commitment by participating during the 5,000 tree planting activity in Northern Athens.  These tree plantings should restore the important ecological surroundings of Athens for our children, as the surroundings of the Attica region were severely impacted by the bush fires in 2009. The tree planting activities shows the commitment of the participants to make Athens a better place to live and work, and bringing life back to a forest in the Northern part of Athens.
