Business and a little dolce vita at Firenze Fiera

Host of the 2009 ICCA congress, the Tuscan capital is a renowned historical and artistic city as well as an outstanding congress destination composed of 372 hotels representing more than 13,000 rooms

Situated at walking distance from the Santa Maria Novella train station and 30 minutes from the airport, Firenze Fiera is separated in three venues. The Palazzo dei congressi comprises among others an historical galleria as well as a 1,500 sq feet auditorium which can welcome up to 1,000 delegates. Composed of 4 floors, the Palazzo degli Affari has a capacity of 500 persons. With its different pavilions, the imposing Fortezza da Basso represents a 32,000 m² exhibition area. In order to increase the number of foreign exhibitors, Firenze Fiera has been working on development projects with the building of a brand new venue: the Prato Exhibition Center. The gala dinners and parties can be held in the nearby majestic Palazzo Vecchio or Palazzo Corsini. The following Florentine wonders are also easily reachable from the congress centers: the Uffizi Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and of course the famous statue of David.
