Cologne encourages city discovery
17/03/2009 GermanyOn March 31st, Cologne, Germany will celebrate its 9th Congress & Events Day with abundant educational and cultural opportunities for participants throughout the day
The historic Gurzenich Koln will play host to this year’s annual event, organized by the KolnKongress GmbH, the Cologne Chamber of Commerce and the newly-founded Cologne Convention Bureau. An exhibition of 50 Cologne-based business tourism suppliers will be on hand from 10:00 on to inform meeting, congress, and incentive professionals coming from throughout Germany about the offerings in their city, and to conduct business. Participants will have the opportunity to spend the afternoon discovering various aspects of Cologne via bike tours, wine casinos, or on a Segway. Registration for this unique destination discovery event will remain open until March 24 st, and is accessible on the Convention Bureau’s website.
