IMEX plays its trump card in Las Vegas

Ray BloomDestined to become the next success story in Las Vegas, IMEX America is a new trade show for the US meetings industry revealed by IMEX’s chairman Ray Bloom last Wednesday
This significant event will take place inLas Vegas at Sands Expo Convention Centre, Venetian Palazzo on October 11-13 th 2011, in partnership with MPI and the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority. Thanks to its 140,000 hotel rooms and excellent transport connections, the Nevada city shows great assets to grow into the “long-term home” of the exhibition, says Chris Meyer, VP of LVCVA. IMEX America is already granted with the support of major associations of the industry such as Site, ICCA, AIPC and IMEX’s longterm partner MPI is happy to “provide compelling educational experiences to the entire meetings & events industry as part of this tremendous new market opportunity” explains MPI’s CEO Bruce MacMillan. Apart from the trade show, the two partners are also working on the largest IMEX/MPI Future Leaders Forum to come. See you in Nevada…
