VIDEO   The famous Strip, temple of sustainability. This may make you smile but it is however the ambition of the brand new City Center.

This gigantic urban resort destination, composed of hotels, residences, casinos, spas, shopping areas and more than 320,000 sq ft of meeting spaces, built in the heart of the city of bling, is one of the latest largest sustainable developments. Designed by award-winner architects specialized in sustainable projects, this “city within the city” has obtained 6 Gold LEED Certifications for its exemplary green programme. Since its inception, sustainability has thus been a leading issue and the complex even generates its own electricity onsite. With an advanced plumbing system, a comprehensive recycling programme, it will help raise the environmental consciousness of the Strip. And because it’s Vegas, clean-burning compressed natural gas limos will transport clients throughout the city. Unfortunately, the City Center is not equipped with solar power system, which is a shame for Sun City and its nearby desert.
