Located in the exact centre of the Iberian Peninsula, Madrid melts historic downtown with modern infrastructures and offers a vast range of original and functional meeting amenities

Recently renovated, the Westin Palace Madrid, built in 1912 at the direction of King Alfonso XIII, represents the royal facet of the city with its 468 guestrooms decorated with antique furnishing and its 15 flexible meeting rooms, which can receive 800 guests. In a different style, the Silken Puerta América Hotel embodies the arty side of the Spanish capital and promotes freedom by merging various cultures and ways of interpreting architecture. The guestrooms are spread over 12 floors decorated by 12 different artists and 950 sq m are dedicated to meetings (900 persons). Some hotels also have conference centres on site such as the NH Eurobuilding located in the centre of Madrid which offers 24 halls (900 people) or the Hotel Auditórium which houses the Principe Felipe Congress Centre and its 60 meeting rooms. For massive events and exhibitions, Feria de Madrid gathers 200 000 sq m of exhibiting space, 12 halls and 3 convention and congress centres while the brand new Madrid International Convention Centre is due to open in 2011.
