New trade show experience enhancements planned for IMEX America 201210/07/2012 USA
Following May’s successful IMEX in Frankfurt show, IMEX Group CEO, Carina Bauer, and her team have done anything but rest on their laurels. They’ve now gone into full swing for the 2nd annual IMEX America Show in Las Vegas, October 9 – 11 at the Sands Expo (which is connected to the show's Headquarters Hotel, The Venetian®|The Palazzo®). This year’s U.S. installment will feature a number of enhancements to the trade show experience for hosted buyers, non-hosted buyers (known as buyer attendees) and professional education lovers alike.
At the launch show North American buyers were particularly enthusiastic in their appreciation and use of the IMEX online scheduling system as a business planning tool. This year a personalised IMEX inbox is being introduced, which will collect all exhibitor messages to buyers into a single inbox on the IMEX website. By generating just one aggregated email per day to each buyer, the intention is to help all buyers manage exhibitor marketing information, emails and invitations to receptions and special events more systematically and effectively.
Further, an improved IMEX App will help buyers (and all attendees) choose more easily from the 100+, free, professional education sessions offered at the show.
Finally, all buyers will enjoy extended access to free wifi throughout the Sands Expo and complimentary shuttle-bus services.
Smart Monday – now “Powered by MPI”
Last Year’s Smart Monday, a free day of professional education at IMEX America, was well received. This year there’s clear demand for even more networking and education opportunities for all attendees. As a result, the pre-show educational - now known as Smart Monday Powered by MPI (October 8th) - will include several new networking receptions.
