Novotel makes its entry in Barcelona

Accor’s brand never joined the cultural effervescence of the Catalan capital-city until a few days ago with the opening of the Novotel Barcelona City.

Situated right in the city center the hotel benefits from both the historical district and its famous buildings, such as the Sagrada Familia and the near seaside. Built to fit the adagio “Designed for natural living”, the Novotel Barcelona City is decorated on the 4 elements theme: marine forms and blue lights in the bar are echoing water; the central open kitchen represents fire; earth is embodied by the convenient and comfortable meeting rooms, while air is represented in the fitness centre, lounge bar and swimming pool, all drenched by natural light. The 264 guestrooms, including 22 junior suites, are divided into 4 different spaces (bed, writing desk, relaxation and bathroom) in order to favour both work and rest and are connected, like the entire hotel, to complimentary Wi-Fi. On the events side, 600 sq m of spaces (4 rooms) have been created for meetings and clients benefit from the Meeting@Novotel service which can be found in several of the brand’s hotels.
