Parador de La Granja and “Guardia de Corps” conference and convention center

ParadoresThe complex of Parador de La Granja and Guardia de Corps Conference & Conventions Center, located in the lovely and historical town of Real Sitio de San Ildefonso (Segovia, Spain) was chosen as Official Venue for several of the meetings celebrated in Spain on occasion of the Spanish Presidency of the European Union, from January until June 2010.
It housed high level meetings within the European Union, United States and Latin-American representatives, contributing to the success of these meetings with high level service, catering and organization, demonstrating again the suitability of the venue to accommodate all kind of events. The participants had not much free time, but were able to enjoy the marvellous natural and historical surroundings of La Granja and Segovia.
A total of nine meetings of different categories and themes were celebrated, starting with the “Ministers for Europe Informal Meeting” in January (the first meeting in the Spanish Presidency) and followed by others of different Development, Science and Poverty, Forest Protection, Space Programs, etc.
