The Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld achieved the Green Globe Benchmarked Silver Status which recognizes its green commitment.
The convention centre has been particularly rewarded for its best practices results in energy saving but also for its program called CEPPER for Community, Eco technology, Partnership, Product, Education and Recycle. This program gathers energy and water consumption savings, support and help to the community, use of eco-friendly materials, training and education of the staff and the recycling of food, materials any recyclable items, etc. The Bangkok Convention Centre, which is linked to the 5 star Centara Grand Hotel at CentralWorld, offers a 6, 000 seat-convention hall, a banquet room and several meeting and boarding rooms.
