1. Super Planner
This award winning Meeting Planner App is the Superman among existing applications! Although its first release was already in 2010 it still appears under the most downloaded column in online app stores. Super Planner offers a variety of planning tools for professional event planners, such as calculators for venue capacity, staffing, catering, staging, projection and dance floor. The capacity calculator works for both feet and meters. 9,99$ might sound expensive, but hey: That's the Superman!

Originally created for interior designers, this app now also helps event planners to map out an event room and edit even details like the floor or background for special themed events. Seating assignments are now easily managed also by planners that struggle with spatial thinking.

3. Business Card Reader
Finally times of typing in business contacts manually into your address book are over! One photo taken by your iPhone will do the work from now on. Available in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish it not only recognizes business cards in these languages, but also in Dutch, Greek, Norwegian, Portuguese, Swedish, Turkish, Japanese and Korean. It also offers an optional integration with existing CRM systems and a LinkedIn support, which helps to search and add contacts or to import information or photo.

This free guest list & event check-in app supports simple and fast guest registration, guest check-in and guest management at events for up to 20,000 attendees. Paper lists are out, simply upload a guest list and thanks to web apps and live synchronizations alerts will tell you when VIP guests arrive. You can easily send your guests printable tickets with unique bar codes, which further can be scanned via the integrated ticket scanner to quickly and efficiently check-in delegates.
