The world's largest terminal opened in Dubai
28/10/2008 United Arab EmiratesOn October 14th, the new Emirates Terminal 3 opened for travellers in Dubai Airport International
The luxurious terminal and numerous halls include an 8 000 sq m Duty Free shopping space, fine dining possibilities, spa treatments and comfortable designer lounges fully equipped for business travellers. In order to avoid the difficulties London Heathrow’s Terminal 5 opening met in March of this year, the Dubai Terminal 3 will open gradually according to a phased program. To begin, the terminal will host flights to Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuweit, New York, Houston, Toronto and Sao Paulo. Thanks to this extension, the Dubai Airport International’s capacity will increase to more than 60 million travellers a year.
