TripIt for Business revamped

After a recent acquisition by Concur, the mobile travel organization service TripIt released a new version of TripIt for Business. The trip organizer was originally designed to just simplify travel for small businesses. With the biggest update being the range of accessibility, now any business professional can view the entire company’s travel plans in one convenient place!

A company’s travel coordinator is thus able to forward any and all travel confirmation e-mails to one single e-mail: plans@tripit.com. The individuals concerned will receive the custom itinerary for the trip, accessible from PC, Smartphone and tablet.

No more copy and pasting travel itineraries! Everyone included has instant access to the itinerary. There’s an In & Out View, which ensures that you always know which coworkers are in the office on a given day. A Travel Dashboard provides an overview of which employees are traveling, as well as when and where they are going. Plus, a shared company calendar offers information on employees’ past and future travels.
