In a nutshell...

In the second quarter of 2012 Thon Hotels will be opening Thon Hotel EU in Brussels. The hotel will be very close to the city's EU quarter, within short walking distance of all EU institutions. The addition of this hotel will give Thon Hotels more than 1,450 rooms in the capital of Europe, making it one of the three largest hotel operators in the city.

Thon Hotel EU will be a 4 star hotel offering 405 light and modern rooms and 30 apartments for short and long term rental. The hotel will offer comprehensive meeting and conference facilities, with 15 meeting rooms, the largest of which will have a maximum capacity of 300 delegates. The hotel will also offer a number of facilities, including a restaurant, bar and fitness centre, as well as a large underground car park. The ground floor of the hotel will be served by a number of interesting shops and a little green space.
