London Heathrow Airport is the busiest airport in the United Kingdom and the third busiest airport in the world, handling almost 68 million passengers per year. Situated around 20 kilometers from the centre of the English capital, it is served by over 90 airlines flying to 180 international destinations, and thus handles more international passengers than any other airport in the world.

Parking at the airport

Available transportation at the airport

Train :
•   There are train stations in the Central Hall of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and in Terminal 4.
•   The Heathrow Express train and bus provide transfers to Terminals 4 and 5.

Bus :
•    There are bus stations at all terminals.
•    Bus number 473 operates between London City Airport, Stratford, Silvertown, North Woolwich and Prince Regent DLR Station.
•    Bus number 474 operates between London City Airport, Canning Town, North Woolwich and East Beckton via Silvertown.
•    Night bus N9 operates between the airport and central London at night when the trains are not running.

Taxis :

•    The trip to the centre of London takes a minimum of one hour - Approximate rates : London Centre £35.00-£60.00, to Marble Arch £45.00 and to hotels around Heathrow Airport £10.00.

London Paddington station is a central London railway terminus and London Underground station complex in the Paddington area of London.

Inaugurated in 1854, its character and the essence of its iconic design have been preserved despite the fact that it has been substantially redeveloped. This site has served as the London terminus of the Great Western Railway and its successors since 1838.

The complex, recently modernised, now serves as the London terminal for the dedicated Heathrow Express airport service. The station also provides long-distance connections with Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea, Exeter, Plymouth and Penzance.

•   Lost property : The lost property desk is in the left luggage office on platform 12.
