Le bistrot d’à côté Flaubert is a former grocery that Michel Rostang has been keen to embellish while respecting its original style and decor in order to preserve its soul. The authenticity of the place is accentuated by the setting and by the Chef’s personal collection of ‘Barbotines’ (porcelain jugs) and of Michelin guides’ first editions.
Regarding cooking, le Flaubert offers a “terroir” high-quality cuisine, revisited but inspired by the regional specialities from Lyon, Savoy and Provence, that Michel Rostang loves. The menu changes every month in order to mix classical bistrot dishes with more innovative compositions and nowadays savours.
